JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the security, receiving, housekeeping, engineering or agency-related concerns of the store. Ensures also that contracts for all agencies are updated and bills are settled.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. HOUSEKEEPING

  2. Ensures that all areas of responsibility are kept clean and tidy according to the highest sanitary and cleanliness standards.

  3. Submits periodic work schedule reports, housekeeping reports including pest control reports.
  4. Ensures that the store has adequate and working supplies and tools to support all housekeeping requirements.
  5. Monitors the movement and recommends the sale and disposal of scrap items.

  6. ENGINEERING

  7. Ensures that all electrical, refrigeration and mechanical facilities, equipment, tools and fixtures are properly maintained and in good running condition.

  8. Ensures that all repairs of electrical and refrigeration units are properly done at least possible time and cost.
  9. Ensures that the stores has adequate and working supplies and tools to support all engineering requirements.

  10. SECURITY

  11. Ensures that all security measures and control are in place at all times.

  12. Ensures that all security personnel are properly equipped to handle security issues in the store.
  13. Ensures that all security personnel are properly scheduled posted in critical areas in the store.
  14. Provides adequate monitor of performance of all security personnel and ensures that sub-standard performance are acted upon accordingly.
  15. Submits punctually accurate reports of all security status and concerns.
  16. Ensures the proper safekeeping and documentation of shoplifted materials.
  17. Ensures that all security personnel are adequately equipped to conduct proper handling of all customer service and pilferage issues and concerns that may arise in the store.

  18. ADMINISTRATION

  19. Oversees and ensures that all agency-hired manpower are well trained for their positions.

  20. Monitors performance of agency personnel and ensures that sub-standard performance are acted upon accordingly.
  21. Monitors performance of all agencies and makes recommendation for renewal of contracts of agencies.
  22. Prepares agency contracts and ensures that these are always updated.
  23. Checks, monitors and properly acts on the update and settlement of utilities and maintenance contracts-telephone, electricity, water maintenance and manpower agency services.

  25. Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
