About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to join our team at The Medical City in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Ward Clerk, you will play a vital administrative support role within our nursing department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our hospital wards. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for nursing graduates looking to gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and maintain patient records, including admissions, discharges and transfers
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the nursing team
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of patient charts and medical documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and answering telephone inquiries
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organisation of the nursing ward
What we're looking for
- Nursing degree or completion of a nursing programme (UNDERBOARD)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and office software
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
