RTR Manager

We are looking for a highly driven Manager to lead the Record to Report (RTR). This role is responsible for transitioning financial accounting activities to an integrated shared services center, while also driving the RTR continuous improvement agenda.

You will play a key role in supporting the preparation of external reporting schedules, leading statutory financial statements and tax return preparation, and ensuring strong governance across accounting processes. You will lead and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of all RTR activities while building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Will oversee end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities, including:

  • Managing period-end close activities
  • Preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages in line with IFRS requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with local GAAP and direct tax obligations
  • Maintaining compliance with internal policies, controls, and SOX requirements
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Providing technical accounting guidance
  • Leading, managing, coaching, and developing managers and team members
  • Driving team engagement, performance, and motivation
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and eliminating non-value-adding activities
  • Leveraging technology to standardize and simplify processes
  • Performing balance sheet reviews and variance analysis

Required Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and deep expertise in financial accounting processes.

  • A minimum of 8 years of accounting experience within a multinational organization or a Big 4 audit firm
  • CPA required
  • At least 2 years in a senior or leadership accounting role, including people management
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and engage high-performing teams
  • Strong delegation, goal-setting, and feedback capabilities
  • Solid project and process management skills, particularly in audit and transformation environments
  • Advanced SAP experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve or escalate complex RTR-related issues effectively

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
  • CPA required
