The Datacenter & Cloud Engineering and Services (DCES) team accelerates digital product development by providing a secure and enterprise-ready infrastructure on-prem and in the cloud.Infrastructure Services > DataCenter & Cloud, Engineering and Services (DCES) > Core Services ChapterResponsibilitiesIn your position as an Infrastructure Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to:Manage the Storage and Backup platform in data centers and the cloudParticipate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation with colleaguesStorage and Backup infrastructure (Storage appliances, SAN switches, VTL, Backup appliance, Agents, tools) upgrades hardware, firmware, or softwarePerform Full VM, VM file, and guest file level restore requestParticipate in disaster recovery exercise, design and maintain disaster recovery plansShow proficiency in resolving issues related to storage, SAN, and backup systemsWork with Architects, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Designers, and engineersWork with the Vendor and Customer during the hardware and performance issuesCapacity management, manage storage usage and growth projectionsPerformance management, analysis, and recommending performance improvementRecommend permanent and temporary solutions and the next course of action to resolve problems and issues.
