Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Safety Officer to ensure the implementation and compliance of occupational health and safety standards for our glass and aluminum installation works. The role involves close monitoring of site activities, particularly working-at-height operations, to maintain a safe and accident-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and enforce Health and Safety policies in compliance with DOLE OSH Standards.

· Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.

· Monitor and enforce safety measures for working-at-height activities (scaffolding, ladders, platforms, etc.).

· Ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection systems.

· Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety trainings.

· Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses.

· Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on safety concerns.

· Maintain safety reports, permits, and documentation.

· Authority to stop unsafe work practices when necessary.

Qualifications

· Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related course).

· With 3 to 5 years working experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction or installation projects.

· Certified Safety Officer (SO2 / SO3 or higher).

· With valid Working at Height Certification (required).

· Knowledgeable in construction safety, fall protection systems, and DOLE OSH standards.

· Good communication and reporting skills.

Additional Requirements

· Must be willing to be assigned on-site at Newcoast Hotel, Pedro Gil, Manila.

· Willing to work extended hours as required by the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
