About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Truck Helper to assist drivers in daily delivery operations. This role includes loading and unloading cargo, securing goods, preparing documentation, and supporting the driver during trips. The Truck Helper plays an important part in ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading

• Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo at warehouses, ports, or customer locations.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully to avoid damage.
• Help verify cargo quantity and condition based on delivery documents.

On-Trip Assistance

• Support the driver during trips, including navigation, communication with dispatch, and preparing documents.
• Assist in securing cargo using straps, locks, or other safety tools when required.
• Help ensure safe operations during backing, parking, and positioning of the truck.

Documentation Support

• Prepare and organize delivery documents, such as delivery receipts or gate passes, for the driver.
• Assist in obtaining signatures from customers upon delivery.

Vehicle & Cargo Care

• Keep the truck clean and organized.
• Assist in basic vehicle checks when instructed by the driver (e.g., checking cargo doors, load security, and equipment).

General Coordination

• Communicate with the driver, warehouse personnel, and dispatchers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Preferably with experience as a truck helper, warehouse helper, or laborer (but not required).
• Physically fit and capable of carrying or lifting goods.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or holidays if needed.
• Responsible, reliable, and a team player.
• Can follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
