Draftsman

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years experience as a draftsman in the construction or architectural industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting and modeling software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software based on architectural and engineering inputs.
• Assist architects, engineers, and designers in developing and refining construction drawings.
• Interpret project specifications and construction documents to produce accurate shop drawings and layouts.
• Coordinate with other design and construction team members to ensure consistency and accuracy across plans.
• Revise and update drawings as per feedback or changes during project development.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design records.
• Conduct on-site visits when necessary to gather data or verify measurements and design requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and company procedures in all drafts.
• Provide technical support and input during the design and planning phases of construction projects.
