Location: Ayala Avenue, Makati City

Work Setup: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Thursday) / WFH for the rest of the week

Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Experience Level: Mid-Level (2–4 years preferred)

About the Role

We're looking for a Web Developer with extensive experience in WordPress + WooCommerce and Shopify CMS. You'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing websites and e-commerce platforms, collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly websites.

This role requires strong coding skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to provide guidance to junior developers when needed.

What You Will Be Doing

Web Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress + WooCommerce and Shopify CMS.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, PHP).
  • Convert designs into functional, responsive websites.
  • Implement third-party plugins, apps, and features as required.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure proper functionality and adherence to standards.

Collaboration & Technical Guidance

  • Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers.
  • Provide basic technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Attend team meetings to set clear expectations and clarify project requirements.

Best Practices & Continuous Learning

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure proper testing of all work.
  • Follow proper web maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and debugging issues.

SEO & Recommendations

  • Apply basic SEO principles during website development.
  • Provide assessments and website improvement recommendations as needed.

Must-Have Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  2. Extensive experience in WordPress + WooCommerce and Shopify CMS.
  3. Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and back-end programming (PHP preferred).
  4. Knowledge of web development best practices and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
