Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare cutting lists and material take-offs based on approved design or shop drawings.
- Assist in creating or revising AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and fabrication details.
- Coordinate with the Senior Designer, Project Engineer, and Production Team to clarify design details and measurements.
- Ensure that cutting lists are accurate, complete, and match the approved design.
- Maintain an organized record of drawings, revisions, and cutting list submissions.
- Review and double-check measurements to prevent material wastage and fabrication errors.
- Assist in updating design files and drawing libraries when necessary.
- Perform on-site verification of dimensions when required.
- Follow company design standards, templates, and file-naming conventions.
- Support other designers or departments in preparing detailed drawings and layouts.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical course.
- With 1–2 years experience in design drafting, preferably in construction, joinery, or metal fabrication industries.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to learn and work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
