Mechanic Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Small Vehicle Mechanic Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of small vehicles such as cars, vans, motorcycles, and light-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will lead a team of mechanics, ensure work quality, enforce safety protocols, and manage workflow efficiency in the shop.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Automotive or related course

• Extensive background in automotive repair & maintenance and lube bay management.

• Strong People Management Skills

• Supervisory or managerial experience is a plus

• Willing to travel to other branches.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of car mechanics, ensuring they are properly trained and performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles.

Work Scheduling: Assign tasks to mechanics, ensuring an efficient workflow and timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Quality Control: Review the quality of work performed on vehicles to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to discuss vehicle issues, repair needs, and provide estimates for services.

Inventory Management: Oversee the management of parts and tools, ensuring stock levels are adequate and ordering parts when necessary.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues that may arise and provide guidance to mechanics on difficult repairs.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and inventory.
