Assistant Photographer

Brent International School Manila is seeking a skilled and creative Photographer to join our team.

• Set up photography equipment, lighting, and backdrops for photo sessions and events.
• Capture high-quality images of students, faculty, staff and school events (portraits, activities, and candid/documentary photos).
• Assist with after-school and occasional weekend events for photography coverage.
• Edit, retouch, and process images using professional software to ensure accuracy in color, tone, and composition.
• Organize, label, and archive photos for easy access and publication use.
• Support the Publications team in preparing visual materials for print and digital platforms (e.g., yearbook, website, social media, posters, programs, booklets, videos, board displays).
• Maintain and care for all photography equipment, ensuring readiness and functionality.
• Collaborate with the team members to meet project and publication deadlines.
• Occasionally, cover and assist in video shoots, basic video editing, presentations, and layout/poster design.

• Proven experience as a photographer (school or corporate experience an advantage).
• Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom, Google Apps Suite ).
• Strong attention to detail and artistic eye.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Flexible and able to work during events or weekends as needed.
• Proficient in using DSLR or mirrorless cameras and adjusting camera settings for various lighting and action conditions.
