We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with some finance background to support both the legal and finance teams. This hybrid role combines legal documentation, compliance tasks, and financial oversight, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant regulations and efficiently manages its financial and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to financial transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and other relevant agencies.
  • Conduct legal research, focusing on corporate law, financial regulations, and compliance matters, to ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of legal and financial documents, ensuring they comply with local laws and company policies.

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Support the finance team in preparing financial reports, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Philippine financial regulations, including tax laws, and SEC filing requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial contracts, loan documents, and other related agreements for legal and financial accuracy.

Hybrid Work Coordination:

  • Effectively manage workload between remote and on-site work
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings and provide timely assistance on both legal and financial projects.
  • Stay up to date with changes in legal and financial regulations that affect company operations and ensure timely compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a focus on corporate law, finance, or both.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Philippine corporate law, SEC regulations, BIR tax laws
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
