Appliances Refrigeration and Aircon Technician

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (Ref & Aircon) Technician to join our Team. The role is responsible for the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of air-conditioning and refrigeration units used in our offices, warehouses, and retail branches.

This position is ideal for candidates who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring optimal performance and safety of all cooling systems in the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems (window, split, and centralized units).
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and extend service life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, electrical issues, and refrigerant leaks.
• Replace or repair defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of refrigerants and tools.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance logs, and material usage.
• Coordinate with the Facilities / Admin Department for maintenance scheduling and inventory of supplies.
• Perform other technical and maintenance-related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Course Graduate in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technology or related field.
• With TESDA NC II Certification in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (preferred but not required).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of ref and aircon systems.
• Knowledgeable in electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to perform fieldwork or site assignments.
• Willing to work onsite and render overtime, weekend, or emergency work as needed.
