Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AS400 RPG Developer to join our technology team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with business requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in RPG programming, system integration, and production support.

  • Design, develop, test, and implement applications using RPG (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free RPG) on AS400/iSeries.
  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform system analysis, coding, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Support batch jobs, interfaces, and integrations with other systems.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support for production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend permanent fixes.
