Jr. Geologist

We're looking for a Jr. Geologist to join our growing team.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Geologist
• With two (2) years of relevant experience in porphyry copper-gold exploration.
• Basic proficiency in GIS software applications.
• Basic familiarity with geological database management systems.
• Sound understanding of QA/QC core sampling protocols and procedures.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willing to work in Brgy. Kingking, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate diamond drilling activities in the field in collaboration with senior geologists and drilling contractors.
• Conduct geological and geotechnical core logging, sampling, and data recording.
• Participate in hydrology testing programs, geological mapping, and geochemical sampling.
• Supervise and assist in test pitting, trench mapping, and sample collection.
• Perform data entry, compilation, and preliminary analysis using GIS and database systems.
• Prepare daily and weekly technical reports detailing field activities and observations.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the supervising geologist.
