Remarkablism Services Corp. is seeking a Junior Controller to support a U.S.-based financial services company specializing in electronic payment processing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong understanding of reconciliations, payables, and daily financial controls. The ideal candidate will combine precision, analytical thinking, and an ability to manage complex transaction data in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit recurring payables to ensure consistency, accuracy, and proper authorization; process invoices as needed.
  • Manage receipt tracking, categorization, and documentation to ensure clear audit trails.
  • Reconcile daily card brand deposits and merchant funding to confirm accuracy across multiple data sources.
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution.

Skillsets:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, complemented by robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven capacity to manage substantial volumes of transaction data with high accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling effective prioritization of multiple tasks.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, dependable professional committed to ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or data reconciliation.
  • Strong comprehension of balance sheets and the reconciliation process.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks.
  • Ability to work night-shift hours and report to the office in Davao City.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • Previous background in payment processing, banking, or related financial services is a definite asset.
