About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our skilled team at Colorado Shipyard Corporation in Tayud, Consolacion Cebu. This full-time role is essential in supporting the fabrication and construction of high-quality marine vessels and equipment. As our Aluminium Welder, you will use your expertise to deliver precision welding to the highest safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Performing aluminium welding on a variety of marine fabrications and components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications to ensure accurate welding
• Collaborating with the fabrication team to problem-solve and identify areas for process improvements
• Maintaining welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Providing training and guidance to less experienced welders as required

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in welding and proven experience as an Aluminium Welder, ideally in a marine or industrial setting
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques for aluminium fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications
• Demonstrated safety focus and willingness to adhere to all safety protocols
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
