Main Scope

The Service Crew is a dynamic team member responsible for providing excellent customer service by performing both front-of-house (e.g., cashiering, order handling) and back-of-house (e.g., food preparation, kitchen support) functions. This role helps ensure smooth kitchen operations, upholds cleanliness and sanitation standards, and contributes to sales through efficient order processing and product availability.

Key Responsibilities

Front-of-House (Cashier & Dispatch)

  • Accurately process customer orders using the POS system and issue official receipts.
  • Monitor product availability by updating inventory on Alfred and third-party platforms.
  • Manage receipt storage, transaction records, and assist with basic administrative tasks.

Back-of-House (Line Cook)

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and ensure tools are well-maintained.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistent presentation.
  • Keep all workstations clean and sanitized following health and safety regulations.

Team & Operations Support

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and order dispatch.
  • Support overall operations while upholding CQSMA standards: Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, and Atmosphere.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and completeness of all transaction receipts
  • Timeliness in receipt issuance and order dispatch
  • Contribution to cooking and preparation efficiency
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication and collaboration with team members

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service setting
  • Familiarity with POS systems, kitchen equipment, and food preparation processes
  • Willingness to work shifting schedules, 6 days a week
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
