Irrigation Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Irrigation Supervisor is in charge of managing the performance, upkeep, and effectiveness of the company's irrigation systems across landscaped areas and/or golf courses. This role ensures that water is distributed properly, systems are operating efficiently, and irrigation supports overall landscape maintenance objectives. The position also involves supervising irrigation personnel, collaborating with other departments, and encouraging environmentally responsible water use to keep the grounds healthy and attractive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of irrigation personnel.
• Oversee the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, controllers, and pumps.
• Develop and implement watering schedules based on weather conditions, plant requirements, and seasonal changes.
• Monitor and manage water consumption to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with the landscaping and maintenance teams to support overall grounds upkeep and aesthetic goals.
• Troubleshoot irrigation issues and recommend system upgrades or improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and water usage.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Train and guide team members on proper irrigation and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience in irrigation operations within a landscape or golf course environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, water management, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and manage multiple field operations simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
