JOB SUMMARY:

The Welder Mechanic is responsible in the repair & maintenance, modification and fabrication of the chassis fleet and in reconditioning its brakes and electrical system.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains good customer relationship by responding promptly to client requests and inquiries.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical defects of chassis
  • Cuts, welds and solders metals for the repair and replacement of damaged chassis parts
  • Overhaul, repair, replace chassis parts where welding or associated metal works is required
  • Remove, repair, fabricate, refit, replace, straighten, assemble, realign, tighten & install different chassis parts such as its main frame, pick-up plate, bolster, landing leg assembly, suspension assembly and wheel & axle assembly
  • Diagnose, recondition and replace brake and electrical system
  • Keeps chassis in good condition
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance of chassis
  • Assist in checking the quality of delivered materials
  • Performs miscellaneous related duties such as driving a service car or truck, substituting forklift operator help in emergencies or other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School level or graduate of a vocational automotive course. TESDA graduate / knowledge in welding is an advantage
  • At least with experience in automotive or heavy equipment repair or experience in welding. a Knowledge in chassis is an advantage.
  • Must know how to drive / with license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 per month
