About The Team & Business Line
Proprietary software solutions and innovation are at the core of what differentiates Citco in the alternative investment space. As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role

• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as Sprint Planning , Sprint Execution , Daily Scrum , Sprint Review , Sprint Retrospective
• Develop front end React components
• Develop and test server-side code using Java, Hibernate, and Spring
• Be comfortable using relational databases and knowledge of SQL
• Perform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team's work
• Design and implement unit, integration, and automation tests
• Responsible for code integration and code deployment of existing modules as well as provide new pipelines for new modules (CI/CD)
• Provide technical leadership to other team members
• Break-down complex functionalities into granular tasks and stories
• Stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to Citco need when required

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience with software engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience with React
• Experience with Docker
• Solid understanding of HTML5, ES6, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with source code management such as GIT
• Experience with relational databases (ideally Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Experience working on Agile teams
• Exposure to Kotlin, AWS, NoSQL is nice to have
• Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring
• Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial industry, specially accounting / general ledger will be preferred.
