MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepares long-term or five-year plans and programs for the unit.

  2. Extracts, analyzes, and monitors district metered areas (DMAs) flow and pressure and proposes appropriate actions to be taken to address the identified issues.

  3. Analyzes water supply and pressure within the business area; prepares data for appurtenances checking; reviews field investigation reports for map updating; coordinates with concerned unit/division (Technical Service Division, Water Supply Operations Division) for water pressure and supply adjustment.

  4. Analyzes and monitors materials usage and withdrawal, prepares and submits annual materials requirements (AMR) of the unit to the approvers (recommending approval by Technical Head and approved by BA Head).

  5. Recommends and monitors expenses and resources for planned projects for All Works.

  6. Provides support to other business units.

  7. Consolidates all project proposals, prepares complete technical documents and requirements for budget allocation of proposed billed volume generating capital expenditure (CAPEX) and All-Works and non-revenue water (NRW) related projects

  8. Coordinates with local government units (LGUs), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) regarding the implementation of projects/activities

  9. Validates suspected illegal connections and issues Notice of Investigation Report (NIR)

  10. Proposes the work schedule of the team, subject to the approval of the Technical Head

  11. Ensures the reading of district meters and fire hydrants

  12. Conducts diagnostic activities

  13. For Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), assists in the creation of Maintenance Order (MO), generation and approval of Materials Request Slip (MRS) in Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) for materials withdrawal of technical in-house and contractor teams Revision No. 2 Prepared by: Rufino T.
