Salvage Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily salvage operations, ensuring efficient processing and recycling of materials.
• In-charge of managing the inventory of salvaged items, coordinating the dismantling and recycling processes.
• Manage staff, coordinate schedules, and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinating with Outbound Manager regarding for dispatch of sorted (from damaged) loose items' allocation per club.
• Monitoring all "HOLD" items logged in Hot files (Block 40 location) due to delivery/documentation concerns and discrepancies.
• Coordinates with the Imports, Merchandising and other teams regarding outright discrepancies during deliveries such as No PO, Short PO, Wrong Pallet Configuration, unlinked SKUs and other concerns logged in Hot files Monitoring for resolution.
• Monitoring of inventory of aging "HOLD" stocks (Block 40 location) from the time it was received to the day it was resolved.
• Process put away of "HOLD" (Block 40 location) items to "GOOD" location once resolved and already keyed-in.
• Assist in audit of vendors / scrappers for rejected items, appliances for repair, and other related concerns related to scrap and disposal.
• Oversees product returns, refurbishment, and disposal processes as well as managing inventory levels and profitability.
• Developing and implementing returns management policies and procedures.
• Ensuring return policies are followed throughout the returns process.
• Analyzing trends in customer returns and implementing corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of any four-year degree course
• At least two (2) years' experience in related industry, with RTV background
• Strong understanding of salvage and recycling operations, Strong interpersonal skills
