Role Overview

The Amazon SEO Specialist is responsible for improving organic rankings, increasing CTR, optimizing listings, and growing non-paid Amazon revenue. This role performs deep keyword research, listing optimization, competitor analysis, and continuous SEO improvements across all global marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

Keyword Research & Listing Optimization

  • Conduct deep keyword research and keyword clustering.
  • Optimize titles, bullets, product descriptions, A+ Content, and backend keywords.
  • Improve keyword indexing and ranking across all marketplaces.

Organic Ranking & CTR Improvement

  • Collaborate with PPC Marketer to balance organic + paid ranking strategy.
  • Test listing variants to improve CTR (titles, images, bullets).
  • Track ranking changes and adjust optimizations accordingly.

Competitor Research & SEO Performance Monitoring

  • Analyze competitor listings for keyword opportunities.
  • Monitor daily indexing, rankings, and conversion-related signals.
  • Identify high-impact SEO improvements weekly.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with PPC Marketer and content/creative teams for SEO-aligned content.
  • Provide weekly SEO insight reports and proposed improvements.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Increase CTR
  • Increase organic keyword ranking
  • Increase organic revenue
  • Improve indexing (100% for all target keywords)
  • Submit 3 SEO improvement proposals weekly

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2+ years Amazon SEO experience
  • Strong keyword research and listing optimization expertise

  • High proficiency with:

  • Helium10

  • Jungle Scout
  • Other Amazon SEO tools
  • Experience improving CTR and ranking through SEO
  • Strong written English
  • Detail-oriented and research-driven
  • Ability to analyze competitors and identify opportunities
