Internal Audit Analyst – Unifrutti Group (Davao, Philippines)

Location: Davao City

Reports to: Group Manager – Internal Audit (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Travel: Up to 30% (farm & field audits)

Languages: English (fluent), Bisaya (proficient)

Grading: Paterson C1/C2

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Internal Audit Analyst to support the execution of Unifrutti's internal audit plan, primarily for our Philippine operations. The role focuses on risk-based reviews, control assessments, compliance checks, and data analysis to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. You'll work closely with teams across farms, packhouses, and support functions, balancing office work with regular fieldwork
.

Key Responsibilities


• Conduct risk-based audits, control testing, and compliance reviews.


• Assist in planning audit engagements and identifying key risks and controls.


• Perform fieldwork including walkthroughs, interviews, and testing.


• Analyse financial, operational, and system data for issues and improvements.


• Prepare working papers and draft audit reports.


• Discuss findings with process owners and support action plan development.


• Track implementation of management action plans.


• Maintain organised audit documentation per Group standards.


• Support annual risk assessment and audit planning.


• Assist with special reviews and investigations.


• Stay updated on IIA standards and audit best practices.


• Provide occasional administrative support to the Group Internal Audit Manager.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related (CPA/CIA preferred).


• 5–7 years' experience in internal/external audit, accounting, or compliance.


• Experience in agriculture, F&B, or manufacturing is an advantage.


• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP B1 preferred.


• Professional, adaptable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
