Warehouseman

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Reporting to Project Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Department Head, the Warehouseman is accountable and responsible in essential duties include receiving shipments, unloading and checking items, operating handling equipment, and system data processing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive, inspect and process incoming and outgoing parts and materials, ensuring quality and accuracy.

2. Oversee and manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and management of inventory.

3. Secures the safety of the materials and/or equipment stored at the Warehouse at all times.

4. Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to company's safety protocol and regulations.

5. Communicate with other warehouses to maximize inventory to reduce cost.

6. Maximize usage of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to track and manage inventory.

7. Analyze current processes for efficiency improvements related to material handling activities within the warehouse environment.

8. Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels.

9. Prepare request, track order status to minimize delays on site operation.

10. Check and monitor all materials and fixed asset transferred site to site.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. At least college graduate

2. Minimum of one (1) year work related experience

3. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;

4. Creative, forward thinker.

5. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets

6. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

7. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

8. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.
