Training Supervisor

Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to TSG Equipment Training Superintendent, the Training Supervisor is accountable and responsible for the formulation, development and implementation of policies and procedure of Training Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with the superintendent to formulate and develop effective training programs.

2. Coordinate with the superintendent to conduct appraisal of the training program.

3. Prepare training materials and presentations.

4. Assess and monitor the delivery of training programs.

5. Monitor and implement training schedules.

6. Ensure compliant to statutory training schedules.

7. Recommend action plans to eliminate repetition of failure as to the identified root cause.

8. Review and organize assessment such as but not limited to practical and theory assessment.

9. Conduct field monitoring of trainee's.

10. Stays in the requesting project site accommodation while work is still in progress.

11. Assess and update training records.

12. Perform other related functions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Graduate of any Technical Course or equivalent

2. At least three (3) years in heavy equipment operation as a multi skilled operator.

3. Knowledgeable in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Program

4. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;

5. Creative, forward thinker.

6. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets

7. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

8. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

9. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.
