Job Summary:
The Head Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining the highest level of pharmaceutical care, and supervising all pharmacy staff. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both clinical and administrative functions to support the company's overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day operations of all pharmacy branches.
- Ensure the accurate dispensing of medicines in compliance with FDA, DOH, and company policies.
- Manage stock levels and oversee purchasing, inventory control, and proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor and evaluate pharmacy processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
2. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all branches comply with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Health (DOH), and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain valid pharmacy permits and licenses, including branch renewals and pharmacist registration.
- Review and approve reports and documentation required for government compliance (e.g., LTO, CPR, RMS).
3. Staff Supervision and Development
- Lead, supervise, and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and other pharmacy staff.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations to ensure staff competence and adherence to ethical standards.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacists in resolving customer and operational issues.
4. Quality Assurance
- Implement and monitor Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) standards.
- Review prescriptions and ensure proper dispensing procedures are followed.
- Ensure the accuracy of drug labeling, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Handle product recalls, returns, and RMS (Return to Manufacturer/Supplier) processes properly.
5. Administrative Duties
- Prepare and submit operational and compliance reports to management.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams for supply planning and vendor management.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the formulation of pharmacy-related policies and SOPs.
6. Customer Service
- Promote safe and rational use of medicines.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure pharmacists provide proper counseling and advice to customers.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist (with valid PRC license).
- Preferably with at least 3–5 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy management.
- Strong knowledge of FDA and DOH regulations, and Good Pharmacy Practice.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php60,000.00 per month
