Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Insights:

● Develop clear, data-driven reports and dashboards that highlight campaign performance, SEO trends, and website metrics.

● Deliver actionable insights and visualizations (charts, tables, graphs) for internal teams and clients to support decision-making.

● Maintain and regularly update performance trackers for key digital channels, including organic search performance and web traffic patterns.

Technical & SEO Support:

● Support implementation and management of website tags using Google Tag Manager and other analytics platforms.

● Conduct SEO audits and assist in identifying site health issues, crawl errors, and indexing opportunities.

● Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate web/app tracking setup and data capture across platforms.

● Assist in monitoring and optimizing website performance metrics like bounce rate, CTR, page speed, and keyword rankings, and expand tagging structures to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.

Collaboration & Execution:

● Collaborate with marketing, content, and web development teams to align data tracking with SEO strategies and campaign goals.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and support campaign optimization based on performance metrics.

● Assist in defining and tracking KPIs across Paid, Owned, and Organic channels, ensuring accurate data collection.

Ad Hoc Analysis & Support:

● Respond to ad hoc data requests from internal teams or clients, ensuring quick turnaround and reliable insights.

● Identify patterns and opportunities from organic and overall digital traffic data to support campaign planning and SEO recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Technical Proficiency:

● Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and basic knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.

● Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and dashboard creation.

● Familiar with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), Tableau, or SuperMetrics.

SEO & Digital Marketing Understanding:

● Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts.

● Familiar with key digital marketing metrics (CPA, CTR, ROAS, etc.) and how they interrelate across digital campaigns.

● Ability to draw insights from traffic sources and user behavior to optimize web performance and content strategy.

Data Accuracy & Time Management:

● Strong attention to detail to ensure clean, consistent, and accurate data reporting.

● Manages workload effectively and meets deadlines without requiring excessive supervision.

Task & Time Management:

● Manages workload efficiently, delivering tasks on time without requiring extra hours (except in unforeseen circumstances).

● Responds promptly to ad hoc requests and ensures timely updates and management of data trackers.

Communication Skills:

● Able to present data and insights in a concise, business-friendly manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Effective written and verbal communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

● Knowledge and understanding of the following:

○ Social Media Listening (ie Meltwater, Talkwalker, GWI)

○ Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager - Website/app tracking and tag management

○ Strong knowledge and skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

○ Digital Marketing and campaign optimization

○ Reporting and data analysis - platforms and reports

○ Defi ning key campaign metrics - CPA, CPI, ROI, CLV, ROAS

○ Data Visualization

● Strong Mathematical and Problem-Solving Skills

● Strong Data Management and Analytical Skills

● Proficiency with MS office applications, Google Marketing Platform, and digital dashboards
