About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Group provides services to our Citco Group of Companies and helps business to succeed in client service excellence.

As a valuable member of our Risk and Control Group, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Risk and Control Group ('R&C') is a group-level, global team, responsible for fostering risk and control awareness across all divisions within the Citco Group of companies as defined on The R&C strategy is to support the organization in implementing a robust risk management and control framework globally across all lines of business. The R&C team is predominantly responsible for the production of the System and Organization ('SOC') reports for the Citco Funds Services, the Citco Bank and Depositary Services and Citco Corporate Solutions lines of business, in addition to many other compliance-based review projects analyzing operational effectiveness of the internal control framework.

The R&C has team members based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Cork and Dublin (Ireland), Jersey City (USA), Manila (The Philippines) and Toronto (Canada).
  • Report to the relevant Risk and Control Manager (SVP) and work closely with Risk and Control and Group Risk Management counterparts in identifying areas where artificial intelligence ('AI') and / or automation solutions can be utilized for added efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AI and / or automation solutions to streamline SOC, quality controls and quality assurance testing processes and evidence gathering. This includes designing and implementing automated workflows for routine control testing procedures and AI-powered quality assurance checks for work papers.
  • Analyze current manual testing processes to identify automation opportunities and develop automated solutions for evidence collection, analysis, and documentation.
  • Create automated reporting solutions for management reporting and SOC, quality controls and quality assurance documentation.
  • Build and maintain automated testing scripts and workflows, monitor and validate the accuracy and reliability of automated testing results, and implement quality control measures for automated processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration of AI / automation tools and ensure automated solutions align with SOC requirements and audit standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all AI / automation solutions.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new automated solutions and supporting disciplines (e.g. programming logic and relational database foundations).
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for process improvements and continuously refine and enhance automated processes based on feedback and results.
  • Support in the execution of control operating effectiveness reviews (as needed). This will include liaising and working with key individuals responsible for the related project work, business representatives across various offices, locations and time zones.
  • Support or lead other projects as assigned.
  • Support and coach more junior team members working on the same project or as part of working groups (as applicable).
  • Foster risk and control awareness across the organization through interactions with business counterparts.
  • Maintain expertise and pursue training to keep abreast of new and proposed developments in emerging AI and automation technologies, controls testing, risk management and auditing fields.
Qualifications

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field;
  • Experience with AI technologies and automation tools;
  • Experience with robotic process automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism);
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools;
  • Knowledge of programming logic and relational database fundamentals;
  • Experience in financial services or audit environment is highly preferred;
  • Understanding of risk management, audit, and controls testing principles is highly desirable;
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities;
  • Background in process improvement methodologies;
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a pre-requisite;
