Job Summary:

The Jr. Design Engineer in Formworks is responsible for developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective formwork and scaffolding designs for construction projects. The role involves creating technical drawings, analyzing structural requirements, and coordinating with site and project teams to ensure proper implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare structural design and layout of formworks and scaffolding systems based on project specifications and construction plans.
  • Generate detailed drawings, shop drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
  • Perform basic structural analysis and load calculations to ensure safety and stability of formwork designs.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, site teams, and clients to assess design requirements and constraints.
  • Modify and revise designs based on feedback or changes in project conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during installation and dismantling of formworks.
  • Participate in value engineering to optimize material usage and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Preferably a licensed Civil Engineer.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in formworks design or structural detailing.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of STAAD, SAP2000, or other analysis software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
