Looking for an experienced Components Manager to lead production, engineering, maintenance, and tool room operations for molding, stamping, plating, and related component manufacturing. The role ensures operational efficiency, safety, and compliance while supporting overall plant performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Policy Execution - Develop and implement manufacturing policies aligned with regulations and corporate guidelines; optimize structure, staffing, and department performance.
- Budget & Performance Management - Develop and manage budgets for molding, stamping, plating, and tool room functions; allocate targets and monitor overall plant performance metrics.
- People Leadership - Allocate tasks, provide performance feedback, mentor and motivate teams, resolve people issues, and support hiring and retention of key talent.
- Production Oversight - Supervise daily manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Mold / Die / Tool Room Maintenance - Oversee maintenance plans, approve spare parts procurement, and ensure effective upkeep of dies and tools to maintain production efficiency.
- Equipment Reliability - Lead equipment maintenance planning and approvals to ensure high machine uptime and reliable operations.
- Engineering & New Projects - Assign engineering projects, track progress on cost and schedule, resolve technical issues, and coordinate cross-departmentally.
- EHS Compliance - Implement EHS systems and targets, ensure workplace safety, eliminate risks, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Continuous Improvement / TEOA - Drive cost-reduction and efficiency projects (Kaizen, Tebit saving) and apply TEOA methodologies and tools (VS Transformation, CCF, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 10+ years of shop-floor management experience in the electrical/electronics manufacturing industry, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in Lean / Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and operator development.
- Experienced with quality systems, planning, and team capability building.
- Strong English communication and proficient computer skills.
