Job Description:

  1. Ensure proper and strict implementation of company rules, regulations, and policies.
  2. Supervise proper application and dilution of disinfectants for sanitation.
  3. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of all hatchery areas.
  4. Oversee performance of lead men and employees.
  5. Supervise and monitor machine/equipment performance to ensure hatching progress.
  6. Adjust controls/temperatures as necessary to maintain incubating conditions.
  7. Recommend improvements in hatchery facilities for efficiency.
  8. Supervise workers in handling products and equipment (machine monitoring, egg classification, egg setting, egg transfer, chick pull-out, quality standards, hygiene & sanitation).
  9. Assess and guide troubleshooting of machines/equipment.
  10. Assign workers to duties (machine monitoring, egg/chick classification, etc.).
  11. Prepare requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.
  12. Prepare production, maintenance, stockroom, and facilities reports.
  13. Review and recommend requisitions for hatchery supplies and materials.
  14. Coordinate with Manpower Service Provider on cleaning materials and employee needs.
  15. Conduct regular meetings with team leaders to map out cost-efficient operations.
  16. Coordinate closely with higher management.
  17. Motivate, train, and guide subordinates.
  18. Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualification:

  • At least with background in Hatchery operations (or trainable up to 2 years)
  • Graduate of Agricultural Engineering or Electromechanical course is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in hatchery machines and equipment (operation, calibration, and troubleshooting)
  • With supervisory or team-lead experience, preferably in agricultural or production setting
  • Strong understanding of sanitation and biosecurity practices
  • Capable of preparing and reviewing reports, requisitions, and documentation
  • Ability to train, guide, and motivate employees effectively
