We are seeking a skilled
Web UI Developer
with strong experience in
Angular
and
NodeJS
to join our sustainment team. This role focuses on
maintaining, enhancing, and supporting existing applications
that serve critical business operations. You will ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our front-end and backend systems while providing timely solutions to user issues and implementing minor to moderate enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    day-to-day support and maintenance
    for existing web applications built on
    Angular (UI)
    and
    NodeJS (backend services)
    .
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production and test environments.
  • Analyze incident reports, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and updates.
  • Develop and deliver
    minor enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements
    while ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Maintain and update
    technical documentation, code repositories, and sustainment processes
    .
  • Participate in system monitoring, logging, and reporting activities to ensure application health and stability.
  • Adhere to
    coding standards, security practices, and change management procedures
    .
  • Provide technical input to planning sessions for system upgrades, patches, and version migrations.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong front-end development skills with
    Angular (v10+)
    .
  • Solid experience with
    NodeJS, ExpressJS
    , and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in
    application sustainment/support, bug fixing, and troubleshooting
    in production environments.
  • Proficiency in
    JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
    .
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with
    SQL / NoSQL databases
    (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with
    monitoring tools
    (e.g., Splunk, New Relic, ELK).
  • Understanding of
    secure coding practices
    and
    application performance optimization
    .
