Husbandry Oficer

The Husbandry Officer is responsible for the efficient coordination and execution of all husbandry services required by vessels during port calls. This role ensures full compliance with port, immigration, and maritime regulations while maintaining a high standard of service to principals, crew members, and relevant stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and arrange husbandry services including crew change assistance, medical support, transportation, accommodations, CTM delivery, and vessel supplies.
• Liaise with immigration, customs, port authorities, and terminal operators to ensure smooth vessel clearance and documentation.
• Arrange delivery of provisions, bonded stores, spares, and other ship requirements in accordance with principal requests.
• Monitor vessel ETA/ETD and provide timely updates to principals and concerned departments.
• Ensure proper documentation for crew arrivals/departures, port formalities, and statutory requirements.
• Handle emergency husbandry needs such as MEDEVAC, repatriation, or urgent supplies.
• Maintain good relationships with service providers, ensuring compliance with company standards and port regulations.
• Prepare job reports, billing documents, and post-operation records.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Customs Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in maritime operations or port agency services is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of port procedures, immigration processes, and maritime documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility to handle shifting schedules and vessel demands.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
