Company Nurse Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site medical support to employees, including first aid, emergency care, and minor medical treatment as needed.
  • Review pre-employment medical requirements of incoming employees to verify their fitness to work and compliance with company health standards.
  • Monitor workplace health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and local occupational health regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and wellness programs.
  • Maintain confidential employee health records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the management of employee injuries or illnesses, including reporting, follow-ups, and coordination with external healthcare providers when necessary.
  • Support the return-to-work process after employee illness or injury, working with HR and management to ensure proper accommodations.
  • Perform regular workplace safety assessments and assist with health and safety training programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health-related matters, offering advice and assistance when needed.
  • Ensure that medical supplies and equipment are stocked and properly maintained.

HR Support and Administrative Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including medical benefits, loans, and other employee welfare programs.
  • Coordinate training and development programs, ensuring employees are informed about available resources.
  • Help with payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including monitoring employee performance reviews and providing administrative support.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support HR-related events.
  • Supervise utility staff and monitor the cleanliness of the plant, ensuring that the facility remains sanitary, safe, and compliant with health standards.
