About the role

Join the dynamic team at Edge Cloud Technology and Solutions as an IT Solutions Consultant. In this full-time role based in Cebu City, you will be responsible for supporting, implementing and maintaining robust IT infrastructure solutions that drive the success of our innovative cloud technology offerings. As a key member of our tech team, you will leverage your expertise to ensure our clients have reliable, scalable and secure IT environments.

What you'll be doing

  • System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and software applications.
  • Network Management: Manage and maintain both internal and customers network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Server Administration: Administer and support Windows, Linux, or other server environments; perform routine system upgrades and patch management.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  • Security Management: Manage and monitor system security, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, access control, and data encryption.
  • System Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance; generate reports and proactively address potential issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, network setups, and support procedures.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring that IT resources are used effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand and support IT requirements for ongoing projects.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Consultant or Systems Administrator
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing and managing complex IT infrastructures
  • In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, server/storage systems and cloud platforms
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g. CCNA, MCSE) is an advantage
