The Electrician is responsible in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in buildings and structures. Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to provide electricity for various purposes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.

2. Installs electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems.

3. Installs safely and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)

4. Connects wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.

5. Prepares and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.

6. Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.

7. Performs effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

8. Complies with company policies, rules, and procedures.

9. Performs other tasks or functions as necessary.
