Operations Manager

As our Operations Manager, you will oversee and optimize all warehouse and fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products across the Philippines. You will be directly responsible for transforming our logistics backbone into a competitive advantage as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching
• Implement and maintain a robust Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Achieve and maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for space efficiency and fast retrieval

Fulfillment & Logistics Excellence

• Manage end-to-end order fulfillment for both B2B (retailers, corporate clients) and D2C (e-commerce) channels
• Coordinate with third-party logistics partners (3PLs) and last-mile carriers
• Ensure same-day/next-day dispatch SLAs are consistently met
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): order accuracy, on-time delivery, damage rate, and fulfillment cost per order

Process Optimization & Cost Management

• Design and implement lean operational processes to reduce waste and improve throughput
• Manage operational budgets, focusing on cost reduction without compromising service quality
• Spearhead automation and technology adoption to enhance efficiency
• Continuously analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, fulfillment staff, and inventory clerks
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions
• Manage staffing plans to align with seasonal demand fluctuations

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and import/export requirements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and secure warehouse environment
• Implement and oversee disaster preparedness and business continuity plans

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Commercial/Sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory
• Collaborate with Procurement on stock replenishment and supplier coordination
• Partner with Customer Service to resolve fulfillment-related issues promptly
• Support Finance with inventory valuation and operational reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/fulfillment operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Proven track record in the Philippine FMCG, retail, or e-commerce logistics sector
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred

• Experience managing multi-channel fulfillment (B2B, B2C, marketplace)
• Background in implementing operational efficiency projects (lean, Six Sigma)
• Familiarity with Philippine logistics networks and last-mile challenges
• Knowledge of customs processes and regulatory requirements for imported goods
