Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing and Commissioning of control & protective relaying equipment in Substations, Power plants and Process plants not limited to Generator, Transformer, Bus Coupler, Bus-Transfer, and Line feeder.
  • Perform functional testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers, circuit breaker change, bus bar panel etc.
  • Calibrate & perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations.
  • Perform end-to-end relay testing, line impedance testing, primary injection and secondary injection testing, stability tests of transformers and bursars etc.
  • Trouble shooting of electrical control circuits and protective relaying equipment.

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL CAPABILITY

  • At least Bachelor's Degree ( Electrical ), Passed Board/Bar/Professional License exam
  • With good communication and analytical skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Office
  • With 3 to 5 years experience in similar line of work.
  • Experience in handling Omicron Brand equipment is an advantage
