PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Auto Electrician is responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in automotive vehicles. Mainly jobs/tasks to inspect and repair electrical parts /components to maintain their functionality to ensure/provide the optimum condition of the vehicles at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Determines malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection and other use of testing tools/devices such as voltmeter and ammeter and tester
  • Test and repair starter motor and other electrical system
  • Repair and replace defective wiring
  • Operates all tools or testing equipment in a safe manner
  • Diagnoses difficult electrical problems and repair
  • Accommodates the complaints of the operator properly about the problem encountered by the vehicle concerning the electrical system and other electrical components
  • Performs works with efficiency and accuracy by the standard
  • Suggests/recommends parts purchase and requisition
  • Coordinates to superior any work activities and setting of priorities
  • Perform any tasks assigned to the superior concerning the demand of the section
  • Provide training and development opportunities for mechanics to level up their skills and knowledge in terms of electrical components of the vehicles
  • Install electrical equipment such as gauges, lightings, alternators, starter motors, and other electrically operated accessories
  • Repair and replace defective wiring in ignition, air conditioning, and control systems of vehicles
  • Maximizes all resources to minimize cost
  • Provides minor or major service repair either on-site or on the field for any electrical issues of the vehicle
  • Repair and charge refrigerant to any air conditioning system of the vehicles
  • Rebuild any electrical units such as starter, alternator, etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Able to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical failure
  • Coordination and monitoring for repair & maintenance
  • Time bounded for services

REQUIREMENT

  • Automotive graduate/auto electrician-related course
  • 2 – 3 years experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles on electrical system
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to be based in Alphaland Balesin Island Club, located in Polillo, Quezon Province
