Warehouse Utility and Forklift Operator

Your bite-size role:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a dual role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials while supporting the overall organization and accuracy of warehouse operations. This position is crucial for maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards, safeguarding product integrity, and ensuring goods are readily available for production, dispatch, audits, and day-to-day operational needs.

As a Warehouse Staff, the role also provides frontline support to the supply chain by assisting in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The successful candidate is expected to balance precision and safety in forklift operation with reliability and teamwork in warehouse support.

Your role has a wide range of responsibilities:

Forklift Operation

• Safely operate forklift and other material-handling equipment (pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.) to load, unload, stack, and move products.

• Transfer raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to and from designated areas, production lines, or storage facilities.

• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure functionality and report defects immediately.
• Follow standard weight limits and stacking procedures to prevent accidents and product damage.
• Replenish picking areas from bulk storage as needed.

Receiving & Inspection

• Unload deliveries and cross-check quantity and quality against delivery receipts and purchase orders.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Properly label, tag, or barcode received goods for identification.

Storage & Inventory Management

• Store items in designated warehouse locations following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) system.
• Ensure all goods are stacked safely and efficiently to maximize warehouse space.
• Assist in regular stocktaking, cycle counting, and reconciliation of physical and system inventory.
• Maintain accurate warehouse logs, records, and documentation.

Order Picking & Dispatch

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch based on delivery orders or job requests.
• Verify correctness of items, quantities, and documentation before releasing goods.
• Load delivery trucks with correct items in the proper sequence.
• Ensure proper securing of goods to avoid damage during transit.
• Keep warehouse aisles, racks, and staging areas clean, safe, and free of obstruction.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
• Report all hazards, near-miss incidents, and accidents promptly.
• Support in waste segregation and proper disposal of damaged or expired goods.
• Assist other warehouse staff in manual loading/unloading when required.
• Support production or operations teams by supplying raw materials on time.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding stock movement and issues.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager.

Who we need for a high-performance team:

• At least a High School Graduate; Vocational or Technical course in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field is an advantage.
• Must hold a valid Forklift Operator's License/Certification (TESDA NC II or equivalent).
• Safety training certifications (e.g., Basic Occupational Safety and Health, First Aid, Fire Safety) are an advantage.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience as a forklift operator or in warehouse operations.
• Experience in handling various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
• Background in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain support is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or basic computer literacy is a plus.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and basic warehouse equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.).
• Knowledge of standard warehouse practices such as receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ability to conduct basic forklift troubleshooting and daily preventive maintenance checks.
• Understanding of First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) inventory methods.
• Basic understanding of load capacity, stacking principles, and weight distribution.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with supervisors and co-workers.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting schedules, extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
