Position Title: Warehouseman

Department: Logistics / Operations / Supply Chain

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Officer

Location: Warehouse

Job Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and issuance of materials, supplies, and equipment in the warehouse. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper organization of stock, and timely delivery of materials to support company operations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and record incoming deliveries of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure that all received items match the purchase order and delivery documents.
  • Properly store and organize materials in designated areas according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock cards or inventory systems regularly.
  • Prepare and issue materials, tools, and equipment as requested by project or site personnel.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics for material replenishment and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse at all times.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials during deliveries and dispatch.
  • Monitor and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Observe safety protocols and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course Graduate; College level preferred.
  • With 1–2 years of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations (preferably in a construction or industrial environment).
  • Knowledge in inventory management, material handling, and basic documentation.
  • Physically fit and able to lift or move materials as required.
  • Basic computer skills are an advantage (MS Excel, inventory systems).
  • Honest, reliable, and highly organized.
  • Willing to be assigned at warehouse

Working Conditions

  • Based at warehouse
  • May involve manual lifting, outdoor work, and extended working hours depending on operational needs.
  • Reports daily to the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Officer.
