**About the Job:**

React Developer (Cebu) | Hybrid Setup

**Work Arrangement:** Hybrid (with 1 day remote work)

**Schedule:** Mid-shift (1 PM to 10 PM)

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a mid-level React Developer for a full-time role based in our Cebu office, offering flexible working options. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications. They will also maintain existing codebases, troubleshoot issues, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills in English, a positive attitude, high commitment, and responsibility are essential, along with agility and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

**Experience:**

- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer working on various platforms

- Minimum of 2 years experience specifically in React development

**Skills and Knowledge:**

- Proficiency in React

- JavaScript expertise

- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns

- Experience with API development and integration

- Familiarity with database management systems like SQL Server

- Basic knowledge of Unix

- Basic understanding of Docker

- Experience with Git version control

- Knowledge of cloud services such as Azure or AWS is a plus

- Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails is a bonus

**Soft Skills:**

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Collaborative team player with effective communication

- Problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude

- Enthusiastic about programming and scripting

- Strong focus on quality and detail

**Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications using React and Ruby on Rails

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing value to the team

- Develop and maintain APIs for smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems

- Collaborate effectively with team members

- Maintain and improve existing software platforms as needed
