JOB PURPOSE

The Accounting Staff provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices as well as treasury and cashiering according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION

BILLINGS

  • Handles all billings of trade and non-trade service transactions.
  • Report Ageing of Receivables and monthly email of Statement of Account.

COLLECTIONS

  • Record all Trade and Non-Trade collections on the system.
  • Report weekly collection through email and monthly reporting for Top Management.

CONTAINER DEPOSITS

  • Recording all Container Deposit collections and reporting of daily, weekly & monthly collections and monthly aging of container deposits.
  • Check and review transactions and reports prepared by Accounting Assistant.

OTHERS

  • Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and other financial matters.
  • Assists in handling transactions to other affiliates including services and fleet cards.
  • Assists in business permit applications and renewals of Cebu and PLX.
  • Assist in reconciliation but not limited to collections and payments.
  • Assists in processing government payments and other regulatory reportorial requirements
  • File, scan and upload documents.
  • Regular communication and coordination to the Head Office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience in the same field or equivalent.
