Job Summary:

The HR Officer – Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition (Level 1) is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, coordination, and evaluation of Training programs and entry-level talent acquisition activities across the company's business units—Precast, CELS, Formworks (FW), FMD, and RMC.

This role focuses on enhancing employees' communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and safety mindset to strengthen collaboration, productivity, and workplace culture. In parallel, the role provides Level 1 Talent Acquisition support, covering sourcing, screening, and hiring coordination for rank-and-file and junior positions, ensuring timely and quality workforce deployment aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Design & Development

  • Develop customized soft skills training modules relevant to construction operations.
  • Identify specific soft skills needs of each business unit (Precast, CELS, FW, FMD, RMC).

2. Training Delivery

  • Conduct engaging classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Facilitate learning sessions in both technical and non-technical environments.
  • Use interactive methods like role-playing, case studies, and simulations.

3. Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure skill development.
  • Collect feedback and continuously improve training materials.
  • Report on training effectiveness and impact to management.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with training champions across all business units to ensure training aligns with operational goals.
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, effective communication, and team dynamics.

5. Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Stay updated on best practices in soft skills development and construction industry trends.
  • Ensure training programs comply with company standards and safety policies.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Proven experience as a Trainer, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction business operations and workplace challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to engage employees at all levels, from laborers to supervisors.
  • Creative, adaptable, and proactive approach to training.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
  • Very good in Microsoft office application (Power point, Excel, Word)
  • Knowlegeable in canva application.

Key Responsibilities – Talent Acquisition (Level 1)

  • Support end-to-end recruitment for rank-and-file and entry-level positions, including candidate sourcing through job portals, referrals, agencies, and internal databases.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/online interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation such as interview assessments, hiring endorsements, job offers, and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding requirements, including medical exams, background checks, orientations, and document completion.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and reports, communicate application status to candidates, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations, while providing support for recruitment events and employer branding activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php24, Php25,000.00 per month
