Membership Clerk

I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
Maintains the highest standards of member-customer service in attending to membership new applications, membership renewals, refund/ return replacement, and repair of merchandise.

II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs the processing of application approval and responsibilities for the release of membership's permanent
and temporary cards.
2. Computes and encodes all data necessary for the daily and monthly membership's productivity status and
weekly refund report.
3. Answers queries of member-customers and follows up on members' status of items and after-sales transaction
that pertains to credit/debit card charge-back.
4. Ensures that all received till (membership tills and refund tills) are counted correctly before leaving the vault room.
5. Performs initial audit of approved membership applications.
6. Prepares and maintains communication forms/memos and coordinates with the receiving clerk regarding the
status of items for repair.
7. Ensures that all replaced and refunded merchandise are released accurately based upon the transaction
receipt which should be within the 30-day Refund policy.
8. Ensures that all lost and found items, membership cards, IDs, etc. Are properly kept and recorded in the Lost and Found logbook.
9. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the working area.
10. Observe proper grooming.
11. Practices proper decorum as per the Code of Conduct and Standard Operating Procedures.
12. Observe punctuality at all times.
13. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior or the Duty Manager.

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION College Level / Vocational Course

EXPERIENCE/SKILL One (1) year experience in related industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and
negotiation skills; computer literate
