Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor live chat during broadcasts to identify and remove inappropriate, offensive, or spam content.
  • Enforce community guidelines and platform policies consistently and fairly.
  • Respond to viewer questions, escalate technical issues, and support engagement during livestreams.
  • Collaborate with streamers, producers, and other moderators to enhance the viewer experience.
  • Track and report on community sentiment, chat behavior, and moderation challenges after each stream.
  • Use moderation bots or tools effectively to automate and streamline moderation where appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming tone that reflects our brand values.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience moderating livestreams, forums, or online communities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of livestream platforms and community norms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Excellent written communication and quick decision-making skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure or during high-traffic events.
  • Familiarity with moderation tools (e.g., Nightbot, Moobot, StreamElements, etc.).
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, or event-specific schedules.
