Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Product Research Specialist with a strong background in dietary supplements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying profitable, compliant, and scalable supplement product opportunities for Amazon FBA using data-driven research and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth Amazon product research specifically for dietary supplements
- Analyze market demand, competition, pricing, margins, and trends
- Identify low-to-medium competition supplement opportunities with strong sales potential
- Evaluate existing listings for strengths, weaknesses, and differentiation opportunities
- Perform keyword research and demand validation
- Assess Amazon compliance risks related to supplements (claims, ingredients, restricted products)
- Analyze reviews to identify customer pain points and improvement opportunities
- Track competitors, new launches, and market trends in the supplement niche
- Present clear research reports with product recommendations and data insights
- Collaborate with sourcing, listing, and brand teams to validate product ideas
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of proven experience in Amazon product research
- Strong experience researching dietary supplements (vitamins, herbal, wellness, sports nutrition, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Amazon FBA metrics (BSR, sales volume, margins)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Helium 10
- Jungle Scout
- Amazon Brand Analytics (preferred)
- Knowledge of Amazon supplement compliance, FDA considerations, and restricted claims
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
