Head of Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our engineering and technical teams in the planning, design, and execution of housing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, project management, and housing development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering department, overseeing project design, planning, and execution.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee feasibility studies, cost estimation, and value engineering for housing projects.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and local authorities throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects.
• Mentor and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering .
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Engineering experience and project management experience may overlap completely to meet the combined requirements.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of project management experience is required.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of housing development experience is required.
• Housing development experience must be specifically in residential projects.
• Proven experience in housing or real estate development, construction management, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
